PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
Programs That Work: The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Metroplex provide diverse activities that meet the interest of all youth. Core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. The Boys & Girls Clubs offer programs in five key areas.
- Character & Leadership Development
Young people are empowered to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, build a moral compass and take on positions of leadership within their Club and community.
- Education & Career Development
Youth are enabled to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career.
- Health & Life Skills
Young people develop their capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.
- The Arts
Young people develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing.
- Sports, Fitness, & Recreation
Young are encouraged to develop fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and social skills.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Metroplex Provides Programs and Services Promoting and Enhancing the Development of Youth by Instilling:
